Pre-Wedding | Phuket
Who said love at first sight is only a ploy written for movies? For Tim and Naoko, their journey is a touching story of pursuit, perseverance, and unconditional love.
The couple first met overseas in the US when they were 20. While lawn mowing to fund his dentistry studies, Tim caught sight of a beautiful student walking past. Her grin was genuine, one that radiated a pure loveliness from within and out. Each day he greeted her, heart yearning and hoping but always from a distance –for being covered in mud and grass wasn’t quite the usual impression one wants to make with the affluent beauty of campus.
It wasn’t until the couple coincidently met at Tim’s shared house (Naoko was visiting one of his housemates) till their love story began. Bashful, Tim kept pushing Naoko away, thinking of how he may provide happiness whilst journeying through struggles. However, she was drawn to his laugh and wit; for he never failed to make her smile with his playful and humble spirit. As obstacles of old such as class and finance loomed closer, unconditional love prevailed as they remained faithful through long-distance. After 7 years when it finally came to their anticipated reunion, Tim popped the question as Naoko happily said “I will”.
This pre-wedding shoot is Tim’s gift and promise to Naoko: no more waiting, no more yearning.
“The Husband’s Favorite” package brought the couple to alluring destinations across Phuket in a short and sweet, memorable experience.
the couple arrived at Kokaeo Lake where overarching trees provided cheeky coverage to the love birds’ pecking. The Japanese bride must’ve been Snow White as woodland creatures (and by that we mean our friendly neighborhood cows and bulls) came to this enchanting location.
Birch and oak may seem unusual for Thailand, yet it provided a perfect magical escape. Dressed in formal white and lace, the couple stood in the midst of the serene lake. No need to ask the mirror in the water, fairest Naoko and Tim truly love each other.
Followed the couple to the beach where tall palm trees paid homage to their meet-cute in LA. Though Ammata’s Eyes usually provide styling and pose techniques, they had no problem as they couldn’t stop gushing over their candid happiness.
7 years may seem long to some and may even have dwindled that kindling flame we call love, yet not with Tim and Naoko.
Their whole hearted commitment to each other created a shared private moment –this is their time, their celebration, their long-awaited chapter.
Running across waves with sandy grains flying through the air, it all takes one look into Naoko’s eyes to see how her Korean husband-to-be completes her.
While she looked like an angel on the beach, Tim provided some K-drama worthy shots as he walked into the sunset.
The entire session was fun and lovely as golden hour illuminated what has to be one of Ammata Eyes’s favorite couple.
We wish you all the best, and have a fantastic wedding!
Yours truly,
Ammata & Shir
