The smell of salty breezes entwined with alluring fragrances of tropical flowers often brings “vacation” to mind. To escape, to fall into azure waters, to climb towering palm trees. For Pear and Pumi, however, these scents and familiar sights spell ‘Home’.
This is the love story of Pumi Sarasin (Pumi) and Alena Piamkulwanich (Pear). It is a tale filled with 14 years of budding friendship, long-distance perseverance, and faithful trust in one another. On a perfect December day while a gentle wind danced around fallen petals on grassy hills, the couple held a lavish yet intimate Amanpuri Phuket wedding for a small gathering of close friends and family.

Excitement and anticipation crackled in the air as The Wedding Bliss Thailand worked their magic to transform the luxurious resort into a dream-made reality. Blossoms of magenta and red embraced lush green bushes, just as the bride personally envisioned.
The surrounding richness of nature and golden-hour rays lit up the venue as photographers, Ammata’s Eyes wandered around the best spots of the resort to snap the delightful reactions of incoming guests.
Sunset at the Amanpuri Phuket wedding was one to remember as bridesmaid after bridesmaid cascaded down the steps to a clearing overlooking the ocean. Drunk on happiness and the magic around, everyone watched with baited breath as the captivating bride elegantly approached a proud groom.
While a private photo session is usually a norm, Ammata’s Eyes focused on staying mostly hidden per the couple’s request to capture candid expressions of subtle joyful tears and gleeful wonder.
To see but not be seen.
Romantic candlelight on long banquet tables made deep red roses glow against black, silky tablecloths—perhaps a homage to the groom’s familial business as the distributor and copyright holder of Coca-Cola in Thailand. One cannot help but smile when glancing at the forever beaming couple.

Once the moon had reached its peak, clinking champagne glasses cheered when Pear climbed the stage. With a sparkle in her eye, the bride began singing the lyrics to the groom’s favorite song รักคุณเข้าแล้ว (Falling In Love by Modern Dog). Suddenly, a familiar male voice echoed.
Pumi startled in disbelief when his favorite singer, Modern Dog joined the grinning bride. Screams and applause erupted across the dance floor as the climax of the night ended with sore dancing feet and loving laughter in the air.
